Recently, the European press announced that some AH-64 Apache helicopters of the Royal Netherlands Air Force were grounded. The first of these platforms started to test flights two days ago.
Helicopters grounded until a second order after technical personnel detected structural problems in the tail rotor during standard maintenance procedures last June. The Netherlands Armed Forces said in a statement, no problems detected at eight AH-64 which located at Fort Hood, Texas. After the investigation and repair work carried out the first grounded helicopter, began test flights. The Netherlands has not announced when all platforms will begin operational flights.
