First V-22 Osprey in the Museum June 10, 2019

One of the latest developed platforms the US inventory, the V-22 Osprey, will be displayed in the museum. The US announced the first time a V-22 Osprey was given to the museum.

 

The platform, which was announced to be exhibited at the Pax River Naval Aviation Museum, had been stored at Patuxtent Naval Airbase Facilities for some time. The platform, which was announced to be an MV-22B, which made its first flight on 23 August 1997 and served in the Marine Corps, was delivered to the museum after a series of renovations and paintings by the VX-23 Test and Evaluation Squadron.
