Ireland Signed Agreement for Missile December 14, 2018

Saab added a new one to its orders in the last days of the year. The company announced the purchase of the RBS 70 BOLIDE system from the Irish Defence Force.

Ireland has been using RBS 70 systems for more than 30 years. Under the agreement signed with a total cost of 60 million Swedish Krona, the country will be the user of the most modern missile developed for RBS 70 systems. The BOLIDE system, which is the most advanced member of the family, can reach up to 2 Mach speeds and can be effective at a range of 9000 meters. Missile provides effective protection against high speed targets.
