Oshkosh has announced a new procurement agreement. Under the agreement, US Army will provide 6107 JLTV vehicles. The deal has a total cost of US $ 1.69 billion. It includes the equipment as well as the necessary kits. Company stated that the decision for full-capacity mass production will be made in 2018. Frist deliveries are announced to expected in the beginning of 2019. Developed to replace HMMWV vehicles in the US Army and Marine Corps inventory, JLTV offers superior protection and terrain capability compared to its predecessor.
