'Admiral Makarov' Is On Its Way 24 November, 2016

Russia’s Admiral Makarov frigate completed its armament trials held at Barents Sea and returning to the acceptance base in the port of Baltiysk, on November 24-25, where the vessel will later leave for Baltic Sea to complete state trials. Yantar Shipyard plans to deliver the frigate to Russian Navy at the end of this year. The Admiral Makarov is the third Project 11356 ship which are armed with Kalibr-NK cruise missiles, the Shtil-1 self-defense missile system, the A-190 100mm artillery gun, anti-aircraft artillery, a rocket launcher, torpedoes and can also carry a Kamov Ka-27 or Ka-31 deck-based helicopter.
