'G-CLAW' Engaged Its Target 17 February, 2017

Textron Systems Weapon & Sensor Systems announced on February 15th that the precision guided G-CLAW test was successful. Tests against mobile and stationary targets has been performed in October 2016 at the Yuma Proving Grounds in Arizona. The missile was fired from the Cessna Caravan aircraft hit targets within a one-meter circular error probable (CEP). The weapon with GPS assisted inertia navigation system is locked onto the target with semi-active laser (Semi-Active Laser / SAL) sensor thermal guiding. G-CLAW is integrated on Cessna Caravan aircraft and Textron AirLand Scorpion jets.
