The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) in Stockholm has published the 2020 Yearbook, which includes global defence analysis such as world military spending and international arms transfers.

The image of Europe’s security thinking has been filled with irregular migration and terrorism in recent years, it said, and this framework is an important driving force in the European Union's (EU) relationship with Libya and Turkey.

The Middle East and North Africa have seven countries with active armed conflict, marking 2019. Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Libya, Syria and Yemen are on the list of Turkey's low-intensity armed conflict classes.

Complex and İnterlinked Armed Conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Turkey

"Complex and İnterlinked Armed Conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Turkey", which focuses on Turkey, Russia and Syria, included the "Safe Zone" created by Russia and Turkey in Syria. The SIPRI 2020 Yearbook said the Syrian Government has consolidated its presence in much of the country, while Iraq remains at the level of largely increased protests and high-intensity armed conflict after the conflict.

World military spending is estimated to be worth 1,917 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, compared to 3.6 percent in 2018. Spending data from Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas were obtained, while the ambiguity of the total amount in the Middle East was noted.

The increase in military spending has led to two countries. The United States came first, followed by China. The United States increased its spending for the second time in a row in 2019, reaching $732 billion. There is a 2.7-fold spending gap between China and the United States. Saudi Arabia was the third-highest-spending country in 2018, but fell to fifth place in 2019. India's spending of $71.1 billion moved the country to third place. The 4.5 percent increase in Russia put the Kremlin in fourth place. The biggest increase in 2019 numbers came from Germany. The country increased its military spending by 10 percent.

About 13,400 nuclear warheads were recorded in nine countries, the United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea, as of 2020. 3,720 were deployed, while about 1,800 were kept under high alert.

The statement that the US nuclear weapon was deployed in Turkey was also among the information contained in the document. "About 150 of the bombs are thought to have been deployed for potential use at NATO countries' air base," the us allegedly said in the annual, which contained "an estimated 230 tactical B61B bombs." Aviano and Ghedi, Italy; Büchel, Germany; Incirlik, Turkey; Kleine Brogel, Belgium; and Volkel, the Netherlands B61B was deployed as the countries.

"Discussions about whether the United States will continue to store nuclear weapons intensified and news emerged that the US military is reviewing weapons evacuation plans," the SIPRI document on the alleged deployments follows Turkey's position in Syria.
