The first joint military drill of Georgia and NATO began today at the Joint Training and Evaluation Center, Georgia. The participant countries include Turkey, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belgium, Slovenia, UK, US, Ukraine and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The main goal of this exercise is to train troops to plan NATO operations and improve interoperability between participant countries. The multinational drill will end on 20 November.
