Despite the worldwide epidemic and disruptions, ASELSAN continued its operations without slowing down and achieved a new export success.

One of Turkey's leading company ASELSAN has added a new one to its export success. The company signed a procurement agreement with Kazakhstan for the SARP DUAL remote-controlled weapon system (RCWS). Achievement announced from company's official social media account with "The leading global technology company #ASELSAN has signed a new contract for SARP-DUAL Advanced Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon Station (RCWS) to friendly and allied country Kazakhstan." note.

SARP DUAL is a member of the Sarp family with dual machine guns, which have been produced in thousands of different variations and entered many countries' inventory. In the platform, which was developed for the use of two coaxial guns, the main gun slot can be fitted with a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine gun as well as a 40 mm grenade launcher. The auxiliary weapon compartment is suitable for the use of 7.62 mm machine guns. Thanks to its stabilization capability, the system is able to make very accurate shots even on the move. SARP DUAL, which calculates the data taken from the laser rangefinder and other sensors with the ballistic computer it contains, offers a high precision accuracy on long ranges. Turret has advanced capabilities such as the last of ammunition warning, ammunition counting and STANAG 4569 Level 2. The system can reach the elevation angle in the range of -30 to +60 degrees, and thanks to this feature, it offers the effective usage opportunity in urban warfare conditions. RCWS can be used manually in case of knock-out conditions by hitting and etc. The platform can store 500 7.62 mm rounds, 400 12.7 mm ammunition or 96 pieces of 40 mm projectiles. 400 7.62 mm round also can be stored coaxial magazine.
