Military Projects on the Moon August 9, 2019

Mankind has dreamed of reaching the moon for ages, but in the military, the moon was a threshold rather than a target. The first to jump this stage was the US, 50 years ago. Soviet Union was first to successfully orbit a person in space and return him to earth. The US was left behind with this success. Countries are participating in this race to test and demonstrate their military development and will continue to do so in the future.

20 July 2019 was the 50th anniversary of mankind's first step on the Moon. In 1969, US astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human to land on the Moon. Two days after this anniversary, on July 22, the spacecraft Chandrayaan-2, which India plans to land on the dark side of the Moon, was successfully launched from the Sriharikota Space Station.
