Battery Workshop by ASPILSAN 23 December, 2016

One of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF) companies, military battery manufacturer ASPILSAN held a 'Battery Technologies Workshop' in Kayseri. The workshop was attended by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Marmara Research Center and TUBITAK Defense Industries Research and Development Institute, METU, Bilkent, ITU, Erciyes, Cukurova, Osmaniye Korkut Ata, Abdullah Gül and Sakarya Universities, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, TAI, Yiğit Akü, İnci GS, Yuasa Akü, DMA, Norm LTD companies.

During his opening speech, ASPILSAN Chairman of the Executive Board Retired Major General İlhan Bölük stated that batteries have a wide area of usage and the workshop aimed to reduce foreign-source dependency and to understand the latest trends in battery technologies. 

Deputy General Manager of TAFF, In Charge of Financial Affairs and Subsidiaries, retired Major General Atilla Gürdere also attended the workshop. During the workshop, the latest developments in battery technologies, super-capacitors, various energy storage systems, fuel cells and various lithium batteries will be discussed.
