China Changes Strategy 26 November, 2019

China plans to export its J-10 (NATO Code: Firebird) fighter aircraft, which was developed using metal alloy and composite materials. China revealed the export variant of its J-10 fighter at the Dubai Airshow. Designated the FC-20E, the design is a near-parallel configuration of the J-10C. With the FC-20E, AVIC is taking direct aim at markets the Russians and Americans are looking to access the MiG-35 and F-16 Block-70/72, respectively. These markets are generally looking for modern, but cost-effective multi-role fighters with contemporary sub-systems, such as AESA radars. With these developments, China is expected to involve in US and Russian export markets.
