German A400M Planes Grounded Due to Engine Issues

German A400M Planes Grounded Due to Engine Issues 3 July, 2016

Problems with the Airbus A400M airlifter’s engines are expanding, with the German air force yesterday having grounded two of the three aircraft it has received to date after discovering the same propeller gear box fault.  Germany has grounded two of its three A400M military transport planes delivered by Airbus Group SE due to newly discovered gearbox issues on their turboprop engines, a spokesman for the German defence ministry said.

Germany has followed policy when an A400M had crashed in Seville at flight test last year May 9th. France in contrary did not stop ground aircraft and just received another A400M two weeks ago.
