The Desperate Wriggling of Poor Regimes… 30 April, 2020

The calendars were showing October 3rd, 2018, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump, has once again made its place in history, making the most realistic description of the Middle East among US presidents: “We protect Saudi Arabia. Would you say they’re rich? And I love the king, King Salman. But I said ‘King - we’re protecting you - you might not be there for two weeks without us - you have to pay for your military.”

This statement was deserved at the beginning of the 20th century that a dynasty deserved to live as a puppet of a colonial power that left young Turkish soldiers who had come from Anatolia to protect the holy lands of Islam by agreement with Britain.
