Usage of the hypersonic missiles becoming common. So, the different models for different requirements began to be derived.

Russia, the country that carries out the most comprehensive studies on hypersonic velocity, will submerge the systems. In the trial conducted in January, the 3M2 Zircon launched from the RFNS Admiral Gorshkov frigate. Another trial will be conducted with the RFNS Severodvinsk (K-560) submarine in the coming days. No exact date was specified for the test launch.

The Zircons, which are thought to carry 300 to 400 kg warheads, are flying to targets about 8-9 Mach speeds.
