Iran Tested Upgraded Anti-tank Missiles 13 December, 2016

Iran has tested an upgraded variant of its Toophan anti-tank missiles during a military drill held in the Gulf of Oman. Iranian Air Foce helicopters fired the missiles towards improvised hostile vessels on the second day of the exercise. The new variant of the missile has an extended range and improved accuracy parameters. Toophans are in production since 2000 by Aerospace Industries Organization of Iran. The missile has several variants, differing in warhead and guidance systems.
