Japan To Conduct Simulated Exercise Against China-Taiwan January 23, 2017

Japan is to carry out a simulated military exercise next week, in response to a presumptive conflict between the country and China and Taiwan. The exercise will begin on Monday and continue until Friday same week. According to Japanese Government’s statement, The US military will participate the drill as an observer. Japan has a new legislation, expanding the powers of the country’s Self-Defence Forces beyond self-defence and enabling Japanese troops to engage in combat overseas.
