Japan is aiming to increase its intelligence on nuclear-powered missile tests conducted by North Korea. According to local media yesterday's report, the Japanese government has taken precaution to detect and monitor North Korea's nuclear tests. Japan has transferred about $ 2.43 million to the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).The Organization will spend the fund from Japan to increase the verification capacity of missile tests and deploy additional mobile equipment in northern Japan. CTBTO has two monitoring stations in Japan. However, the organization failed to identify North Korea's two nuclear tests last year. The Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty was adopted by the UN General Assembly on 10 September 1996. The CTBTO is working to replace the UN targets. The organization has an annual budget of $ 130 million.
