MEADS in Close-up 2 June, 2016

Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control Department, Richard H. Edwards has evaluated the interest of Turkish officials to MEADS (Medium Extended Air Defense System) system at ILA Air Show. Mentioning that more than 20 Turkish officials have received enhanced disclosure regarding MEADS for two days, Edwards stated that Turkey has showed its interest and MEADS project has been open to Turkey. He also expressed that a package, which is offered to Poland, would be able to be assessed for Turkey as well. As it is well-known, Turkey intends to meet its air defence requirements from local sources majorly.
