Egypt, which has modernized its army with many weapons purchases from various countries and has become an important power in the Eastern Mediterranean, is improving its attack helicopter capability.

The United States has approved the possible sale of materials requested by Cairo in line with the requirements of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. Egypt requested many subcomponents for refurbishment requirement of platforms such as 88 T700-GE-701D turboshaft engines, which 86 of them refurbished and two spares, 47 AN / ASQ-170 Modernized Target Acquisition and Designation Sight, same amount of AN / AAR -11 Modernized Pilot Night Vision Sensors, 45 AAR-57 Common Missile Warning Systems, including various electronic subcomponents, rocket launchers, missile launchers, cannon and cannon barrel. The total cost of the package is estimated as $ 2.3 billion.

AH-64E Apache is an important power multiplier for Egypt, which has different types of attack helicopters in its inventory.
