International Radar and Border Security Summit Held for the Second Time

Organized by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) for the second time, Military Radar + Border Security Turkey Summit started today with the participation of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar and a number of state officials. Interior Minister Soylu, drew attention to Turkey's security measures need to reduce dependence on foreign laying. Speaking after Minister Soylu in the two-day event, Minister of National Defense Akar said that it was a dream to produce weapons, ammunition and equipment locally, but today this dream is real. “Our work will continue increasingly. If we do not have an F-35, we have made Hürkuş, we will make our own national combat aircraft, hopefully we will. If it's not the Patriot, we're building the trench, we're going to develop our own air defence system. Nobody doubts that. " Akar said.

Within the scope of the event; conducted interactive panels, speakers, interactive panels on radar technologies, air defence systems, coast guard, UAVs, cyber security threats and solutions. FNSS, HAVELSAN, METEKSAN, Machinery and Chemical Industry Authority, Nurol Makina, ROKETSAN, STM and many other companies exhibited their products in the event area.
