National Participation to Czechia

National Participation to Czechia 19 January, 2017

Turkey is planning to realize national participation in international Defence and Security Technologies (IDET) exhibition which is to be held in Czechia, more commonly known as the Czech Republic. According to the information obtained by C4Defence, the decion waits Defence Minister's approval. Turkey will realize one of its most important international fair participations this year in this country. Czechoslovakia, one of the Warsaw Pact countries during the Soviet Union period, was peacefully divided into two separate countries after the fall of the wall, and both countries became members of the EU. The transition process of these countries to the NATO defence system is still not complete and the same process is happening in neighboring countries. The exhibition, which has been held every two years since 1993 in the Czechia, attracts exhibitors from about 30 countries and visitors from 50 countries. Among the visitors, the former Warsaw Pact member Eastern European Countries constitutes an important segment.

The exhibition gave place to products in the field of national defence and mainland security in the past years and gave priority to land vehicles and electronic systems such as command and control centers, surveillance and marking systems, intelligence and radar systems, and logistic services.
