NATO to control Bulgarian air space August 26, 2016

For the first time, NATO initiated a mission for Bulgaria in regards to taking enhanced air policing measures. The mission will include proper identification of the military or civillian aircrafts which enter NATO airspace, communication with air traffic control and flight planning. Within this context, two F15s will join Bulgarian MIGs for a drill in the second week of September.
