New C-UAS by China 30 November, 2017

China’s Ministry of National Defence (MND) released images of a new counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) on 28 November showing the test-firing conducted in Beijing.

The truck-mounted C-UAS is referred as a short-range air defence system by the ministry, consisting of two vehicles: one features detection and jamming equipment while another is fitted with a laser-based weapon. In addition to detection, tracking, and counter-UAS equipment, the vehicles likely carry power-generation units, along with control consoles and communication systems.
