New Investments Channel Into Cyber Security 1 December, 2016

A senior Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) official informed on 22 November that the country might invest in cyber defence, through armed forces’ Signal Corps. AFP Signal Corps is a division responsible for military command-and-control support and the provision of voice and data services. Indicating the increase in cyber attacks, AFP deputy chief of staff for communications, electronics and information systems commented that two divisions were to be established fort his particular project, one of which would develop policies and the other would be a cyber-capable responsive organisation.
