New Prototype for US Marines 14 December, 2016

BAE Systems has delivered the first prototype of its Amphibious Combat Vehicle to the US Marine Corps (USMC), announced in a press release yesterday. Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) 1.1 is an eight-wheel vehicle with 700-horsepower engine and is able to accomodate 13 marines. Being fully amphibious, the combat vehicle can be launched and recovered by a ship. BAE Systems will deliver 15 more prototypes for USMC trials, scheduled to start in early 2017.
