T-14 Armata Exports Are on Russia's Agenda 8 July, 2020

Russian officials said they had begun negotiating with foreign users for the export of the Main Battle tank of the T-14 Armata.

Speaking to Serbia's daily Glas javnosti, Russian officials said work was underway to export the MiG-35 aircraft, while the sale of the Armata tank was also on the agenda.

Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov announced in April that exports of the main battle tank were on the agenda.

The development of the T-14 Armata main battle tank began in 2011. The platform is equipped with a remotely commanded unmanned tower.

The tank is scheduled to enter mass production in 2021.
