T-45s Grounded For One More Week 11 April, 2017

The US Naval Air Forces has extended the operational pause of the T-45 fleet by at least another week. The service grounded the T-45Cs for three days last week, after complaints concerning the aircraft’s oxygen breathing system which resulted with the pilots refusing to carry out their training missions. the commander of Naval Air Forces Vice Adm. Mike Shoemaker said that they were dedicating the best people to find solutions and allocating necessary money toward mitigation measures in order to reduce the risks associated with the T-45 oxygen breathing system.
