The US-Philippines Relations Strengthens November 23, 2016

The US and Philippines military officials came together at the Mutual Defense Board and Security Engagement Board meeting in Quezon City on 22 November in order to enhance cooperation regarding counterterrorism and cybersecurity. The US Pacific Command stated that they look forward to continued, close cooperation in areas central to both countries’ national and security interests including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, cyber security and maritime security.
