Six KORKUTs for Turkish Armed Forces 24 April, 2018

The General Manager of Turkey's Mechanical and Chemical Industry Company (MKEK), Ahmet Taşkın, announced six KORKUT low altitude air defence systems will be delivered to Turkish Armed Forces. Taşkın, who participated the 29th ordinary meeting of the general assembly of Defence and Aerospace Industry Manufacturers Association, discussed MKEK's continuing work. He said that even though other companies are in the forefront, MKEK was manufacturing the barrel system of KORKUT which can use 35 mm fragmentation munition and six systems will be delivered to Turkish Armed Forces within next week.
