Ukraine Continues to Buy Weapons from Europe and United States 29 August, 2020

Ukraine's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko recently announced that an agreement will be signed between the two countries for the purchase of weapons. Prystaiko said that the contract will not only include the purchase, but also the production of such systems in Ukraine will be covered by the agreement.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said the United States approved the sale of 16 Mark VI patrol boats and related equipment. The Ukrainian Navy is continuing its preparation slated for current and future threats in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.

In March 2018, Ukraine announced that it would supply 210 Javelin anti-tank missiles and 37 Javelin missiles with a total value of $47 million; In June 2020, Javelin anti-tank missiles and numerous munitions had reached Ukraine.
