Ukroboronprom Eliminates Special Arms Exporters November 1, 2019

Ukraine based web site censor.net stated that State Concern Ukroboronprom decided to eliminate special arms exporters; Two companies will export.

On October 30, the first meeting of the updated supervisory board of the Ukroboronprom took place. Ukroboronprom CEO Aivaras Abromavicius chaired the meeting. The conference aimed to reform the state defence industry to the newly formed supervisory board. A former head of the American Agency for Advanced Defence Research Projects (DARPA), Anthony Teter, has remained from the "old-timers" in the supervisory board of Ukroboronprom.

Ukroboronprom announced a plan to eliminate special exporters of weapons - only two will be left.

Today in the structure of Ukroboronprom there are six companies empowered by the Cabinet of Ministers with the right to trade in all types of weapons and military equipment with the approval of licenses with the State Export Control Service. The reform program leaves only the two largest exporters; Ukrspetsexport and Spetstekhnoexport.
