Unmanned "Hürkuş" On The Way October 19, 2016

"Hürkuş" training aircraft, developed and manufactured by the Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc., is to have a new unmanned variant, according to the information C4Defence attained. The objective of this program is to utilize a thousand and 500 kg-high payload capability of the newly developed aircraft. Hürkuş has been certified by Directorate General of civil Aviation in July 2016 and the certification has been approved by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Reportedly, although still being in development phase, an armed version of Hürkuş C might be developed under the same program with the UAV version, which implies the new UAV might be armed as well.
